"Take Diversion" redirects Youtube videos to Invidious
By now, people here at #fediverse would be aware of an alternative youtube frontend called invidious
I wrote a Web Extension for #Firefox named Take Diversion to block requests to youtube and redirects to invidious instance to watch the same video there.
The extension is released under GNU GPL v3.0 and here is the source code.
Bugs, new feature requests can be reported here
The current version of the extension is v0.3. This is not the only extension for Firefox that does redirection to invidious, there are few more such extensions in Mozilla Addon store. Do check them out as well.
But I'm not exactly stealth. I have my pronouns in everything. It's really a matter of them assuming that no trans men are in tech or...in life.
Or that trans men all present like Buck Angel.
I know at least some of my colleagues think I'm a trans woman, which I guess makes sense because the average person who dresses like me in tech is an egg
We generate content for Twitter. They sell it to advertisers. We are their bread & butter.
RW makes Twitter filthy. Still Twitter favours them. They do nothing abt the threats & abuses by RW. Instead they suspend & throttle our side.
We deserve a better place. #Move
"OK boomer," death
I've seen "this is a distraction from class struggle" going around, and that's true in some ways, but you know what? They spent years killing their own undesirables to a degree that it *is* a class struggle in the US. And look at those death figures from austerity in the UK.

How many queer people over 50 do you know? How many people who became anti-imperialist after witnessing what it does to other countries? How many PoC who were scooped up by Project 100,000? How does that add up versus pissy old Fox viewers who won't shut up about pronouns?

Trans, guy of center, well over 18.
I'm in tech and it feels weird.
