thought: mastodon instances should include a link to their own github page so people can access the code they use
@boots Or better, instead of or in addition to Github: use Gitlab, which is actually Free Software you can install, produced by a more ethical company that allows for both public and private repositories for $0 if you use their service.
@boots i did that at first but it was a hardcoded string so it was another floating patch i had to maintain
probably wouldn't be too hard to make it a preferences field, huh
