anyway if you get down to the bare bones of it with none of the rules lawyering (no trying to get one with the other)
"immortality vs shapeshifting" is actually a very interesting question

there's a lot of benefits to immortality- i'd totally pick it if i could deal with losing people i care about
tbh being able to turn it off is even worse to me
