@Firstaide yeah, but it's good considering that other than the <style> tag and the <meta> tag that make sure it doesn't look awful, it wrote the html itself

@maloki i don't think either side had the energy today. truce?

@squirrel hm, i think i see it but also instead of it scrolling straight up it just shutters violently every now and then

@blackle four, but i think this might be like "tabs vs spaces"

@maloki a post can be both constructive feedback and annoyance with the general state of things

@maloki @squirrel i'm not seeing how squirrel posting about an issue they're having isn't constructive feedback

@maloki @squirrel because we want to have features
that is why

bam

@squirrel are you on single-column view
not reproducing on multi

@vi@witches.town is this post philosophy of the self(ie)?

@squirrel gimme list of things to make this happen and ill do the github issue thingamajig for you if you want

@maloki @squirrel the issue is is like
sure, RCs will have bugs, but also like if people stayed behind
1. the people on old instances would probably wonder why other people on other instances are getting new features and complain
2. these bugs would probably never get reported and make it into a full release
3. literally everyone posting about updating makes it seem like updating is just sorta Imperative For An Admin To Do

@squirrel i mean whenever mastodon fucks up i always remember that twitter doesn't even have a place where you could theoretically report this

even if the mastodon issue tracker Sucks (imo) at least it's better than twitter's which is only for internal users

basically uh it wasn't meant to go offscreen but trying not to get it to go offscreen is like playing a 2x1 version of lights out

basically, if i correct so that it stays at the top, the memory writes will eventually mess up, either causing a really ugly white bar, the text suddenly being eaten by a black void from below (and/or the middle)

but if i misalign so that the memory writes take it offscreen (as seen), the black void eating the text isn't visible which is better
