if i ever wrote ransomware you'd probably have to scroll through a page of me apologizing and making excuses for as to why i made it before you actually found the bitcoin address

me: feels fine complaining about my money state
me: dying at the thought of straight up asking for help

me: haha i'll use a vps that takes bitcoin so that i dont have to use paypal and stuff!!
me, with some paypal money and no bitcoin: Oh

you know that cartoon thing where like someone opens their wallet and a single fly comes out and leaves

that's just my permanent default financial state online

me: ah, i love being on the internet where i dont need to worry about much
vps host: hey uh you do know your server's going to expire tomorrow right
me: ah, Fuck

mood: permanently sleepy. just like, forever

my discord username is very...
interesting

(fun fact it's also banned by discord so i cant change my account because itll tell me i have a blank username)

@boots and even if they don't, you can actually hide the image without having to scroll until it's off-screen!

sure, it doesn't work if someone's intentionally not tagging their stuff, but like
for twitter, it doesn't even work if someone wants to tag their stuff!!! why!!!
(and besides that's why it should be **ALWAYS BANNABLE** to not tag your nsfw)

also twitter's sensitive content ui is God Awful last i checked and makes it way harder to just view something on your timeline than it should be where mastodon's just *makes sense*

the nice thing about mastodon compared to birdsite that i never see anyone talk about: you can probably actually browse it in public, even if you follow people who post lewd stuff sometimes

because birdsite's approach to nsfw is just "here let us decide for you based on a shitty algorithm, or you can decide if your entire account is Sensitive (no per-post) and also if you want to view Everything Sensitive Ever"

mastodon is just "you know what you're doing, tag your stuff."

"i have put...way too much time and thought into making one robot pet another" -- me, 2017

you say tomato i say what tomato i dont see any why did you just say tomato out of the blue is there a spec

it's weird going on twitter after mastodon and just realizing you can't make a private post on your public acount

i mean what do you expect from a company partnered with a company called "Dataminr"
i'm not joking, go look it up.

by the way
>> ~TWITTER WAS ALWAYS COLLECTING THIS~ <<
>> IT'S JUST TELLING YOU NOW <<
> PROBABLY BECAUSE IT HAS TO <

here's some of the stuff i don't get to see but know exists:

* What credit card company you use
* Political party affiliation
* Your education level
* Net worth
* If you own a home or rent
* If you're married

oh also by the way people with twitter analytics can see a general averaged list of all this data for all of their followers

what this data does not include that twitter is telling accounts the average of:
* How much income you make
* "Consumer behavior"
* Your mobile network
* What TV genres you watch
* What your home is valued at
* Your lifestyle choices (though it's always been "online buyers" for me so...)
