"Steam will stop running on Windows 7 in 279 days" ... that's hilarious. I guess I'll just no longer be able to play, for example, my copy of Civilization IV, released in… 2005. I'm not upgrading my gaming PC beyond Windows 7, so I guess the Steam Deck will become my only gaming PC?

The best part is the reasoning: "The newest features in Steam rely on an embedded version of Google Chrome, which no longer functions on older versions of Windows", so basically because Steam is a fucking web app.
