it's so weird that certain users' toots aren't federating to this instance while most users' are. this seems like a mastodon bug? but maybe once it's updated it'll be fixed. idek

@squirrel i don't know what that means, i'm guessing it's a rails-specific thing. sorry.. maybe reinstalling from scratch (but keeping users' data) would help? idk

it took installing ruby, sass, and downloading the entire stylesheets folder from the mastodon source, but i finally got a way to make generating user stylesheets easier.

@squirrel @weirdoslam @corzntin I'm not getting any toots from @pico8bot since 10 hours ago, and @twitter@mastodon.technology's toots are only showing up in their profile column and not in my home feed. idk what's going on

@corzntin @weirdoslam nope. I'm not seeing any of their toots since 3 days ago either (with the exception of their retoot of one of @squirrel's toots 3 hrs ago)

@corzntin I did not. I think this is a mastodon bug rather than something specific to these instances

@squirrel @corzntin I think somehow the parent toot got federated when I put that link in the searchbar, yet the toot itself didn't federate
