can companies please just hire customer support representatives with any experience with their products?? i don't contact support to get generic troubleshooting steps that are completely irrelevant. troubleshooting "my backlight starts off low but gets brighter over time" should not involve asking whether you've tried a different hdmi cable, lol

@maple oh well yeah I totally agree with that. i think a lot of it falls on instance admins to enforce the rules, and once that happens consistently, new folks will learn and adapt from it
