#TheLastJedi was almost good, but wasn't brave enough regarding a few key story choices.

1. Leia should have died. The second part of a trilogy is usually about loss and defeat, but this movie fails to make its characters actually suffer.

2. The battle between Rey and Ben ends up anticlimactically, despite that scene being by far the best one in the movie. A fight between them there was necessary.

3. Rey gets way too little character development compared to Ben.
