So, I swapped out an old AMD athlon 64 for an X2, and it's saying processor model unknown. But it seems to work fine..so..weird. Maybe because it's an OEM part? o.o

@pettancow AMD Athlon 64 X2. From my research, it's an OEM model. Dual core with 2.7 Ghz per core.
@pettancow This might be a key reason. The CPU in question was released in April 2008, and the last BIOS update was in late 2007, August. Thanks, ASrock!
@elastimouse That'd definitely do it, yeah. It doesn't surprise me either that ASRock fell off on updates. Admittedly, the date made me almost wonder earlier if ABit had made your board, since they shuttered around that time.
