My in-game time (not counting between levels choosing a pickup because the timer stops) was 16 minutes

Best mobile Downwell experience is PS Vita
Best home experience is Switch with an NES controller
(Bestest is probably Switch + NES controller + Tate mode and you rotate your TV)
