so - I got a kintsugi kit to repair some sentimental pottery that was dropped by a housemate. I always think 'oh what a beautiful metaphor maybe this time I'll do it', and this time I did!

however, it turns out that the urushi sap that is the foundation of all the various parts of the process is in from the same plant family as poison ivy and friends
