Within two years I'll be on a Linux laptop, android shitphone and self-hosted mastodon and my life will have come full circle
@rustyk5 if you are going to pick a laptop, please, write about it. I thought about Mi Laptop but battery life doesn't seem to be so good (~5h which is fine but after MBA I certainly want more)
@charlag I've been using a 2013 chromebook pixel running Gallium for a couple days, and I love pretty much everything about it except the battery life. Reportedly the 2015 Pixel gets much, much better battery life but they appear to be almost impossible to find. Still, for $360 the 2013 pixel is an incredibly good deal.
