@paulfree14 If you want to avoid "supporting" YouTube, just use https://www.invidio.us whenever you link to a video and https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/hooktube-redirect/ for you personally. Invidious makes sure, Google JavaScripts, personal recommendations and ads are blocked.

The nice advantage compared to pure use of Tor: You protect others as well by using Invidious Links instead of YouTube links.
