Hi all! This is a call to action for those who would like to help with their accessibility skills, or learn them while working on a not too complex web front-end. The quite popular Jitsi Meet web frontend has some accessibility issues which are preventing people with disabilities like me to participate in many meetings. These issues are low-hanging fruit. Mail meiner Freundin aus UK bekommen, bei ihnen sind bisher noch keinerlei Maßnahmen wegen Corona getroffen worden, aber sie rechnen heute mit Verlautbarungen durch Johnson. Richtig krass sind die Nachrichten einer Freundin von ihr aus Colarado, da haben die Leute nämlich nicht nur Klopapier gehamstert, sondern die Waffengeschäfte leer gekauft und sich bis an die Zähne bewaffnet.

hey if you're worried about corona and are trying to self quarantine and stay home and all that stuff, just remember - you can go outside and like enjoy the outdoors still. it's not like disease is floating through the air. get out, get some vitamin d and read a book or something. make some lemonade or some iced tea and enjoy the sun. forget about the state of panic and all that, because you can still *exist*. just watch yourself around others and leave if you feel uncomfortable.

So, I listened to that Berliner Philharmoniker livestream... and it was mindblowingly good. (Also, I got to hear two great 20th century pieces for the first time!)
