A gentle, slightly subtooty reminder that not all trans people:
* are on, want to be on, or have access to HRT
* can wear the clothes, makeup, or hairstyle they want to
* will ever get surgery, top or bottom, either by choice or circumstance
* are young, slender, or conventionally attractive
When you talk about trans people as a group, make sure you're not making any of these flawed assumptions. Don't contribute to the disenfranchisement of people who don't experience transness the way you do.
