Dear non-French speaking Mastonauts!
If you want to get rid of anything related to the upcoming French elections, you can click your Home timeline's configuration menu (upper-right), and in the "advanced" field use the following regular expression:
" (hamon)|(le\spen)|(macron)|(m[eé]lenchon)|(dupont-aignan)|(arthaud)|(poutou)|(cheminade)|(lassalle)|(asselineau)|(fillon) ".
Close the menu.. et voilà! <3
Do you want to talk about using / developing / admining #OpenBSD?
#EuroBSDCon is in Paris in September and has an open CFP right now. Think about what you want to talk about, then check out the Call For Proposals page at https://2017.eurobsdcon.org/2017/03/13/call-for-proposals/
Travel Expenses (hotel, flights) are fully covered for accepted speakers.
welcome to goulag / internet censorship / russia
It's a black day for #russian internets: a bill draft was proposed by Russian government that bans usage of #VPN, #Tor, and other anonymizers. This happened only 10 days after a Tor exit node administrator #DmitryBogatov was arrested. Being anonymous is now a crime in Russia... #freeBogatov https://rublacklist.net/27859/
@phessler Just did the same a few weeks ago. AS206155 here, #ipv6-only, running bgpd :) #bgp #OpenBSD https://www.peeringdb.com/net/12893. LIR courtesy of @tetaneutral_net and transit from grifon.fr, two french non-profit ISPs members of #ffdn https://db.ffdn.org

@Spyou Oserai-je demander de quoi est-ce un graphe ?
In an environment of peace free of war and predation where food is plentiful, sexual selection starts driving evolution. See fancy island birds.
When folks lament that humans have stopped evolving, it makes me giggle. We lost predatory selection, but there are plenty of other drivers. Birds of Paradise and Bowerbirds will tell you how hard they work to be chosen to sire future generations, building stages for display practicing routines, stealing props from one another.
