configuring s3 storage with a new host however owncast will not function. some sort of issue with details. I am attempting to make my stream globally compatible using some kind of _high speed _ distributed _data connection_ however I had to disable s3 for now & run _barely functional_ _high latency_ locally based direct vps connection for now. ; _;

I was looking for a way to transfer 100 mb noise files to a second hand android phone I was given (reason for discard was cosmetic) when my fairphone 2 stopped working (battery does not hold charge) & I found croc (https://github.com/schollz/croc) e2e point2point transfers from/to computing devices. instructions to install on at least ten distros. got 7mbit upload from my desktop to mobile.

last night my computer ran out of space on /, due to me making a non-transient tmp folder, rather than "delete at reboot"

solved issue eventually, however big scares at 3am when stuff stops compiling due to out of space errors.

successful compilation! ... place assets in .srb2kart folder ... I now have a working copy of srb2kart!

thanks to discord folk & my provably sub standard visual navigation skills, I found linux build instructions

it built however then I get a fatal "SIGSERV" error on launch, oh well I tried!

trying to work out how to compile srb2kart using cmake. I just joined their discord to ask about it if I cannot get it to go.

got a computer upgrade for what I guess is holiday sentiment or general objects-as-concern form of attention. doubled the memory & number of monitors on my desktop, was operating with less than 5% of available ram during heavy use, causing lockups, causing further trouble. feel good n fast now.

apologies for the frequent stream restarts (& corresponding notifications), having system trouble at the moment. moved to low-latency kernel to try to address, however I figure now it is either a hard drive dying on me or a memory bottleneck.

feeling great fear of abrupt system destruction I configured object storage for my stream server. appears to be working, however I could not say for sure. recovering from scaling high peaks (with accompanying failuredrops from altitude) in popular video entertainment title SONIC FRONTIERS with casual 3D modelling. high stress life.

l8 nite streamer hours, playing thru SONIC FRONTIERS for the second time, also planning to do some creative tasks. 9.7 mb noise gif for any interested parties.
