#guerillagrow I want to grow some of my food this year. Have some corn, millet, bell pepper, sunflower, tomato, various types of beans and peas, flowers, pumpkin and squash. Since I don't own any usable land I'm going for a permaculture "guerilla grow" (i want it as low on maintenance as possible, especially irrigation, since i have no way of getting the plants large amounts of water on my bike). I located some unused places i can plant them around my town.

Any tips welcome!

@CircleAnA have you tried using coffee grounds with soil, not a lot but some? it acts as a mulch and can be very useful! I've also heard beer works but I'd use with caution

@osakurahime 👋 No, haven’t tried it, ill have to soon... not a big coffee drinker myself, but I have local cofee shops to ask for
...ive heard it holds a lot of water just like a sponge

@CircleAnA it's helpful I'm sure you could ask some coffee shops. Yes it holds water really nicely, it's also biodegradable/compostable. just be careful about waterlogging
