in other news, Elite: Dangerous with a HOTAS is pretty neat, though I'm progressively becoming a worse and worse pilot as I continue to swap control schemes from kb+m -> controller -> HOTAS
lemme just go ahead and hit boost and smash into the wall instead of retract my landing gear
at one point it was like "Press Joy12" or something when I was trying to scan something and I sat there pressing every button, turned my shields off, deployed heatsinks, jettisoned cargo, until I figured out what button it was
@pan Hopefully! I know turning on flight assist here and there can be useful, I used to do it on kb+m when I wanted to stop a spin fast

That said, you'll get used to it in time and feel like a badass dogfighting with flight assist off, going full Death Blossom. :D
