i think i have decided that i really like masto, despite the issues i take with it, so i will probably stay over here even if others decide not to. (not exclusively over here, ofc, will still be on twitter, just nice to have the alternative)

i am quite fascinated that masto only indexes hashtags in the search, so your posts aren't termsearch-able unless you specifically put a hashtag in. i love that!
