so hi i am lian, i am adhd autistic and also a spoonie and a cripple and enby and ace. i like watching tv shows, currently i am very fond of the expanse and agents of shield.

i care a lot about social justice and i have 2 lovely ginger cats.

@squirrel i have asked around and many people have shared my question but nobody seems to know of any mastodon instance which uses dark text on light background. so i was just going to suggest that maybe you could change this and make this instance one that people can use who have trouble with it. it's ok if you don't want to, i just wanted to make the suggestion for you to consider is all. thank you for listening!

anyway the css is what i wanted to talk to you about.
this theme here is already loads better than the standard theme, which i can't use at all, but the "light text on dark background" is still a problem for many visually impaired people

@squirrel hey i am new and i am having accessibility issues with mastodon, some you won't be able to fix but also some you (as admin) may be able to help with, i was wondering if you care

and the columns do not help my ADHD either, this will not be good for extensive reading / writing

i still get bad VSS from this theme but it's a lot less bad than the standard theme
