@minx I keep a few gamepads just for those kinda games.
I just really expected a game with tile-based world and object placement AND a grid based menu system would let me use the d-pad for stuff but I guess not?
@sc looks like googling "New Moon XP" brings up more resources. It's all a bit incomprehensible to me at the moment but you might be able to dive through the >20 page thread for what you need.
@sc I hope it works for you!
@sc Looks like someone's already on that!

I haven't read the entire thread but there were some linked binaries.
(Sorry if you found this already and I'm telling you nothing useful :/)
@minx keyboard + mouse.
Stardew Valley has some gamepad support but navigating menus was a paaaaiiiiinnnnn
@minx Do you have Stardew Valley? It's only good on full KB+M but it's pretty good with music
@minx what do you have for choices?
@annika suddenly I feel sad for all those thrift store proprietary phone chargers :(
micro/heh

@annika me but with that small bag of pre-USB cables (parallel printer, etc) I have
one day SOME might come in handy for the dream DOS build for Ad-Lib Tracker stuff but really when is that actually going to happen?
@annika You never know when you'll need that ISA coax modem card!!
@annika but hoarding equipment is the only way to do things!
@annika I have one of those too, but oddly enough the small size makes it /harder/ to place? The big FE switch fits under my monitor really nicely.
I'll figure it out.
Thank you for the offer, though! I appreciate it!
