companies like Disney see people like DeSantis gleefully push legislation that will murder youths in the name of protecting Christofascist comfort zones (e.g. child rape) and they're like "bitch, that's our target market you're fucking with"
newspapers, publishers, and academic organizations, on the other hand, sell to a crowd that largely thinks social progress should have halted in the '50s, if not earlier
@mekkaokereke like make no mistake it is a choice of devils but this is one circumstance under which there is, in fact, a lesser of two evils if only in that one of said evils puts SOME value on human life
