@ultraloveheaven 1 model is the same as 300 airline passengers taking 1 cross country flight. That's one airplane. there are typically 15 flights a day between nyc and sfo. not bad.
@bageler honestly, i didn’t catch this but you’re right looking at the article again - not as concerning as the article frames it to be. i def don’t think “all ai bad” but i am definitely concerned with who owns and controls it, and empathize with the workers at risk from it. nuance always

@ultraloveheaven training 1 model that is used by millions of people, and comparing that to things quantified as single-person use is misleading at best. This tells me 1 foundation model is only as bad as 6 cars. that's pretty good if you ask me, given that 6 cars will be used by probably only around 30-40 people tops in its lifetime.
