I think people like to say they want a dumb phone much more than they actually want to buy and use a dumb phone, mainly because there’s literally nothing stopping them from going out and buying one right now. They’re the vinyl records of the phone market

@dogzilla true. i was thinking about getting one recently after idealizing this for almost a decade now, but upon sitting down and actually trying to figure out if it would work with my lifestyle, i’d be creating issues with logging into work among other things i can’t easily let go of, even with some outsourcing of things like music to an mp3 player. but maybe i’m just not determined enough to find a solution, idk
