facebook reminded me of this not entirely terrible oekaki i did two years ago of the theotokos/madonna and child for #christmas and honestly... still don't hate it. fingers crossed i get to redo it again sometime. i really like the idea of drawing mary as sweaty, exhausted, hair in her face, but happy even as she is exhausted. .......y'know, like a mom who has just given birth.
