sometimes you don't always get the last word in. this is not the end of the world. it doesn't mean that anyone ever using that block feature is using a dick move that is beyond the pale of politeness. it's the equivalent of firmly closing a door in someone's face.

a good 90% of my mute list is "bots that post stuff untagged, or post dubious shit" and "people who i am sure are perfectly lovely but type in homestuck quirks and that gives me a headache"

@dune it's a topic that i've seen be given tws very commonly. the only places i haven't seen it tw'd are people using such jokes for the "edgy humor", scare quotes in full effect. it's better to consult with someone other than my goy ass ofc, but i've always seen/been told to tw them, and i don't think i've seen such a thing on mastodon untagged ever (unless part of a bucket of 4chan by way of gab fresh to mastodon trying to troll).
