@hope@weirder.earth i would probably go for something that covers higher up. those look like, while leather/suede, they aren't going to give you much in the way of protecting that part of your ankle. maybe see if you can pick up a pair of hiking or work boots second-hand that go up a little higher and have a bit more padding and sturdiness around the ankle.

also stains are a real sunnovagun to get out of suede like that, lol

squinting out at the distant fires on the fediverse, while politeness is not something that should be demanded, i will take a moment to say that if you want someone to do a request on your behalf, especially if that someone is a stranger who does not know you and your stuff, you will generally get a better response if you use politeness to show you understand they are also a human being.

i just keep encountering this and it's driving me batty because... i've been HELPING the healers all this time. like i go out of my way to do so. i know it's part of being a good summoner, since i also have a rez spell! BUT SURE OKAY GUESS I'LL DIE, STANDING RIGHT NEXT TO YOU JUMPING UP AND DOWN WITH 2% HEALTH WHILE YOU CAST STONE AGAIN

i know it's very petty, but one of the pet peeves i have in ffxiv that makes my blood pressure skyrocket

is when i'm in alliance roulette and i'm second or third on aggro from pumping out dps while rezzing people left and right

and then i die to some attack, or get down to low health

and i can look up and see both of the healers spamming stone gormlessly instead of healing/rezzing me
