today on #splatoon2 i really need a button for "i swear to god this is not l'appel du vide, it's me having a senior moment"
WHOOOOOOO WANTS TO SPEND A LOT OF MONEY BRIBING THIS COMPANY TO TAKE A CUSTOM SIZE TO GET THIS DRESS FOR ME https://www.lolitawardrobe.com/arcadian-deer-nightmare-at-daybreak-classic-gothic-lolita-op-dress-note-will-be-ready-for-shipping-in-december_p5166.html #lolitafashion
heyo #spoonie masto folks
does anyone know of a website that lets you look up, per (US) zip code, a barometric pressure forecast and retrospective?
like maybe "here's what it is now, in the middle of the past 3 days, and predictions for next 3 days" or something?
i feel like this sort of graph display + prediction MUST be around somewhere because it's such common weather data, but i just can't google-fu it
especially not with my shoulder hurting lol
but also i may be a little strange in comparison but i genuinely find rough english just... really charming a lot of times
other people may make fun of it when it's obviously someone's second language but i just find it absolutely fucking delightful
like someone is obviously taking such great care doing *me* the service of catering to *my* language preference, and when english is such a fucking nonsense language to boot
i have all the patience in the world for that!!!
i will say though there's something that i find endlessly charming, in that asian #lolitafashion sellers often address you as "sweetie" and so forth to indicate the vibe they're going for, even in things like customer service
and as a southerner this is delightful
a random dude calling me sweetie? BANNED. ILLEGAL. TO BE REBUFFED WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE.
a lolita fashion seller addressing me as 'sweetie' around language barrier? BEAUTIFUL. BLESSED. LOVELY.
i know the answer is very reasonably "since it's all custom it's taking awhile, here's an update" in all honesty but still
want lacey :( want frills :( where frill :(

i saw a recipe from the 70's (provided below)
and i actually went
"i can see that working, if you change the bread that filling is served with. but, actually... the filling wouldn't quite work, so... honestly.... .............i think it needs maybe a little cheese? but definitely... some mayonnaise"
i'm so sorry everyone. i have definitely hit critical whiteness. please don your protective safety gear
