i will say that although revolutionary war era/colonial america isn't my fav time period (LATE VICTORIAN/EDWARDIAN WHOOO), i find it really useful for referring to when plotting out roleplay minutiae for #ffxiv roleplay.

i really really like domestic history and food history but ffxiv's wibbly setting makes #ffxivrp a bit hard to pin down. but i feel like colonial food is a good representation of "the common man's food available to everyone in eorzea; things everyone knows about and eats".

first nails done of the new year!!! i did an 'opal jelly translucent' thing as the regular color, which is just a little bit of milkiness. and looks like the first color i found was the chroming powder in rose gold! i actually really like it over a translucent base - over black it will stand out a whole lot more.

-to expand on my routine of taking care of myself. not just washing my face every day, but also brushing/flossing/tongue scraping, and neti pot, and so on.
