when you see someone describe a creative endeavor they undertook as "quarantine" or "lockdown" it's a good reminder that doing something creative is not just unusual, but embarrassing for many people, and they feel obligated to explain it was the result of adverse conditions

@drewtoothpaste also kinda makes folks like me feel left out - Essential Workers who never got a "quarantine" stage and were just expected to keep showing up to work and never having the time for projects like that.
