uh yeah I think double the temperature of the surface of the Sun will do that.

I think it will have one or two other consequences too

@elilla pokémon has other similar issues with scale and units. Iirc there's one that's denser than a black hole

@Kiloku the old theory is that the entries are written by 10-year-old kids on journeys of self-discovery

@Kiloku however, all generations clearly state that the pokédexes are high-tech devices that write the data of captured pokémon "automatically".

allow me to advance then a new theory to explain the absurd numbers and mismatched scales in pokémon data:

the pokédex software is based on a pokémon equivalent of generative "AI"

@elilla @Kiloku given how many times Pokemon professors will tell you that "we really don't know much about these creatures" I suspect that clearing out all the unverified, inaccurate data (which is to say all of it) and starting from scratch is the norm in that world; every other year, declaring "THIS time, we'll get it right, we just need to start... all... over... again..."

@wildweasel @Kiloku "I'm sure we just need to prompt it better, the new model is 30% better at hallucination benchmarks"

@wildweasel @elilla @Kiloku that’s why you gotta start anew with scraping collecting them all every few years
