I've never attached a Bluetooth keyboard to my Android phone before but it's kind of goated for typing long emails and stuff.

Good question. I have reasons in this specific situation which aren't important. Also the small keyboard is more portable than a laptop.

@Eliot_L for like four years (at my second to last job) i really wanted a folding bluetooth keyboard for my phone, so i could tap out chunks of fiction or blog posts during downtime at work, and just stash it in my pocket when not in use.
alas i only ever found one pocket keyboard and it was very chattery and awful 😔
