Last week of me having a 50 euro rail card that allows unlimited travel within the country during off-peak hours.
Just traveled 2x 90 minutes to visit my sister, costing me absolutely nothing.
Such a shame they're ending this thing! I totally would continue using it otherwise, even if it was a little more than 50 euro tbh.
@Tijn Thinking back to when I was a university student and could get discounted season passes for the bus/rail service. I was happy to ride everywhere at that point, happy to hop off at random stops and hop back on because I knew I wasn't gonna run out of 2-hour ticket time.
I miss it so much. A 2-hour ticket is almost $3 USD now. Have to pre-meditate all my trips and remember to load up the fare card and can only top it up in $5 chunks.
@wildweasel yeah the last time I had an unlimited pass like this was also when I was a student. It's so great to just be able to travel without having to consider the costs!
