the occasional hobby of mine: forcing old computers to do things that max out CPU usage
i wish this resulted in a working binary, but there is apparently a 20 year old known issue that prevents this from compiling under FreeBSD
@wildweasel wait are you trying to compile UZDoom on a BSD?

@techokami I was! it got surprisingly far into the process after disabling Vulkan support but it stopped on some issue that I couldn't figure out https://github.com/UZDoom/UZDoom/issues/2000
but I'll have to see if the suggestion in this issue ticket does anything
