@PixelProphecy I've played it again last year, it was great, but the mouse controls didn't age too well.
I can recommend the "tex3-mouselook" (https://codeberg.org/moralrecordings/tex3-mouselook) patch to modernize it.
@loadhigh Thank you! I first played it about 5 years ago and recently replayed The Pandora Directive for an upcoming @dosgameclub episode and controls came up as well. I am probably the only one who finds the original controls "quaint", "endearing", and "serviceable" 😅
@PixelProphecy They're not completely unusable, I'd say, at least until you need to hide somewhere on a time limit, or if there is any risk of instant game-over if you walk into the wrong area.
It's been years since I looked, but I half wonder if this game ever supported a joystick, or a Logitech Cyberman.
