I know you're not supposed to pick a lock that's in use, and you're not supposed to pick a lock without permission, and you're not supposed to steal stuff...
But hear me out—they were locking the park bathroom at dusk so homeless people can't use it, and doing it in such a way that you can't close the door for privacy during the day either...again.
This is a shitty thing to do to homeless folx, and a dangerous thing to do for vulnerable populations such as women, kids, and queers.
Last time I just moved the lock so my partner could close the door. This time I'm keeping it.

‚Polizei räumt politisches und kulturelles Camp ohne rechtliche Verfügung und erledigt die Drecksarbeit für Tech-Oligarchen.
Heute morgen wurde in Benken auf dem Privatgrund eines solidarischen Bauers das “KI-kurzschliessen-Camp” mit politischem Programm gegen den massiven Ausbau von Datenzentren in der Region Schaffhausen aufgebaut.
Nach anfänglichen Verhandlungen begann die Polizei, sich zusammenzurotten. Vermummte Zivilpolizisten kesselten die Menschen vor Ort - begleitet von Drohnen und Polizeihunden. Menschen wurden kontrolliert und die Polizei verteilte Platzverweise.
Die Kantonspolizei gestand gegenüber einem Journalisten, dass sie zum Zeitpunkt des Übergriffs über keine Verfügung der Gemeinde verfügte. Die Polizei erledigt also eigenmächtig die Drecksarbeit für Tech-Oligarchen - und zeigt damit einmal mehr, dass sie lediglich die bewaffnete Hand der Reichen und Mächtigen ist.

That wave is less casual than it looks. The system records a short video of your hand and pulls 21 hand-landmark coordinates from it, mapping your finger joints, your palm geometry, and the way you move in real time.
