subtweeting/subtooting/whatever is an excellent way to create distrust among your fellow beings because nobody can determine who you're talking about and as a consequence everyone thinks you're talking about them.

if you have an issue with someone, bring it up to them or an admin directly, don't go dumping it all over the public space. it's unhealthy for you and everyone else. poor communication kills.

※ i would also like to ammend this with "if you make it clear that you aren't talking about people who can see your posts and they're set to private, this is mostly null" because it's okay to vent. it's okay to say that dealing with shit sucks. but don't do it in a way that it's possible for unintended people to think you're talking about them.

anxiety and paranoia feed off of that shit.

but keep in mind that even if you do remind people that you aren't talking about them, particularly bad bouts of anxiety, paranoia, or depression can make people ignore those and *still* feel like they're being called out.

basically, just consider what you're saying from the perspective of someone else who has to read it, too.

@Xkeeper Oddly, I only seem to do subwhatevering (or something like it anyway) when I'm anxious or the like myself. It's not a good excuse, but it is curious.
