@monorail couple unsolicited tips that you might have already read:
variate on the amount of pressure you put on the cylinder with whatever tension tool you’re using
rake picks (basically a pick with a sorta zig-zaggy end if that makes sense make good quick work of lesser locks and don’t require as much finesse. might be able to bend one of the pins into such a shape?

lock picking is honestly kinda irritating ;_;
