@Chel Gay furries are pretty hard to beat. I'm actually fairly new to tabletop.social, but I was made a mod cuz I was super active and cuz they want a diverse moderation team

@Chel It's not been that bad. Mostly just helping make decisions about instances to block and reminding people to CW stuff. So nothing too hard, and it makes me feel good making this a place where everyone can feel safe!

@artisticfennec That's good to hear! I kind of burned myself out on community management by being involved in way too many forums, typically with primarily cishet ownership/members... and generally with less regard for the benefits of diversity. 😅

@artisticfennec I forums, in theory - heck, I helped my partner ( @Scarly ) build her own fully featured forum system from scratch - but in practice they more often than not all seem to end up saturated with hugely problematic people and staff 😬
