I think the main difficulty I had with DOS2 was just not really being invested in the story or world, how they were telling the story, and not really being into the characters. The combat was delightful (especially with co-op!), but it was't really enough to keep me hooked on its own sadly... despite my best efforts

Meanwhile POE2 basically had me squeeing with delight nonstop 😅
