I wish I had a couple Chel clones to live with, so that we could distribute the burden of spoon consuming activities and be collectively better off as a result. Not to mention added benefits, such as cooking together, having more players for Mario Kart/etc, being able to make ou— I mean, being able to watch cute cat videos together, and probably drive Scarily absolutely up a wall with our collective antics
@Chel hmmm, i'm not sure if this is a...........
@Scarly .........yes?
@Scarly if you mean you’re not sure this is a good idea, well, I mean, of course it is
@decis @Scarly okay, let's unpack this all bit by bit...
so, there are two PCs in this apartment, two admittedly oldish netbooks, an old android tablet, a couple old phones, a television, and more consoles than I'd like to admit
Scarly works day shift mon-fri, so most of the time during the week both PCs would be open, in addition to the other items. if we assume three clones for a total of four Chels, we'd be able to guarantee that each had access to a computer of some sort
@decis @Scarly basically we'd need to trade off between good PCs and not great PCs, which would probably be fine since I don't often do anything that requires tremendous computing power, apart from some games which we'd just have to take turns on (and which we would have two capable PCs for)
so I think that'd be fine
food rationing might be a blessing in disguise by forcing the Chel collective to maintain a stricter diet and making eating out less practical, with some potential health benefits
@decis @Scarly a lot of the things that I cook tend to be things that are easy to do in bulk, and that are easy to scale, so home cooking wouldn't be too big of an issue - we'd just have to spend more time at Costco, more or less.
different shows and movies shouldn't be too difficult, since I presume the clones would have similar taste... and there are so many screens and cheap headphones available, that we could do our own thing in that regard.
washroom would be dicey, though - that would be
@decis @Scarly the most difficult thing. we'd have to get used to occasionally making mad dashes through the apartment building to the restroom in the lobby. I think there's a second restroom that is available for all residents as well, though I'm not sure.
it would be difficult, uncomfortable at times, but probably workable with a bit of strategy and planning
bed would be a little tricky, admittedly. we'd have to trade off on it, the couch, and an air mattress or something
