i love how microcomputers were only invented in the late twentieth century - the 1970s at the earliest - and only really saw widespread adoption in the eighties and nineties

@DarkWitchClaire possibly? but mainframes of the time would've been running unix, which infamously uses a completely different means of representing dates that's immune to the y2k problem

granted, it is vulnerable to the y2038 problem, so there's that :blobcatthinking:​
