I sometimes miss the days before social networks, when conventional self-hosted forums were the normal thing. This, unfortunately, leads to remembering that nearly every successful forum operator that I've personally dealt with was a white, cis, straight male with delusions of grandeur. Then, I stop missing conventional forums.
@scarlet yeahhhhhhhhh. if I could have a decently active forum of some sort featuring healthy conversations regarding games and other media, ran by good non-abusive queer folks, with zero tolerance for your typical Gamer fuckery I'd be hard pressed to go anywhere else o3o
sadly that sort of thing doesn't seem to exist.
