welp!! I just got all 7 super emeralds in Emerald Hill Zone (where you first start being able to get super emeralds at the cost of your super sonic power, so you can get hyper sonic). It's the first zone of the Sonic & Knuckles part of Sonic 3 & Knuckles @_@ gaddang. I am power playing this gam, jeez.

Oh. I meant to say mushroom hill zone, not emerald hill. I'm not sure what happened there @_@
Basically mushroom hill zone act 1 has three super rings hidden in a really easy to reach route, one after the other. Act 2 has FOUR. neither act requires any backtracking for these routes. Which is nice because flying battery zone is AWFUL to find super rings on
