@Nine Way of the Samurai 4 has a PC port fyi :3
@theoutrider I've only ever played 2 and I loved 2 especially the plotline where you help the village, teach the kid to read and write, then have to rescue the village from both the evil mafia and the corrupt lawmen, and ride off into the sunset because staying in one place is for chumps apparently.
@theoutrider welp that's me sold.
@theoutrider XD holy fuck for real???
@theoutrider omfg
@Nine "here's how to English:"
@Nine anyway people watching in WotS4 is amazing because the Foreigners just wander around town and occasionally engage in "conversation" like that video
@theoutrider I like how steam's algorithm is going "huh this doesn't look like ANYTHING you've played before!" at both WotS3 and 4 on pc when I look them up on the store .
like I mean
surely I've played SOMETHING with SOME kind of similarity to them.
@Nine you say this but I can't actually think of a PC game that I'd describe as "similar" to WotS? like they're basically Shenmue-y type affairs and that genre has been largely restricted to consoles...
@theoutrider I dunnno I'd have figured that character action games like Nier or Okami would at least flag some kind of similarity with the algorithms.
@Nine HOWEVER I've played a bunch of 4 and the Steam page for 3 tells me the same thing
~algorithms~
@theoutrider gotta love em huh
@Nine there's also a language school you need to get going again in order to learn English so you can talk to the Westerners
and there's calligraphy banners on the walls there with Ramones lyrics on them
