Fuck I don't wanna be super hype about it I don't I can't I shouldn't be but goddammitttttttt... I LIKED the first one, it fixed all the problems I had with Dead Island? (almost all) and sure it had big issues, but the story was engaging enough and I had fun.. up until the marathon QTE of the final boss and the fact that nothing matters in your actions -_-; But ...Avelone is a great writer. If he's got good talent to work with he could make the story incredible...
