Welp. I was foolish enough, after watching a stream of folks having a good time with Talisman, to try a hotseat game with all the rules turned on.

I have literally never had fun playing Talisman. I'm aware there are people who do, but Talisman is like some kind of trap. It looks perfectly fun from the outside, you can watch people having fun, it looks like it has loads of stuff in it that would be fun

Then you play it and you realise far too late that it isn't fun in the slightest and it was all an illusion and now you're stuck playing it.

@Nine Like the *base* game is alright, with friends. But the more that's added, the more the jankiness and lack of balancing becomes painfully, *painfully* clear.
