@matt I mean... beef can be safely eaten semi raw, and that looks like a beef cube, soooo...
Pork is generally a paler looking meat, though I suppose lamb can look similar to beef. lamb though you definitely gotta cook all the way through. it's only beef that you can eat raw.

@Nine @matt Beef tapeworm is also a lot less awful than pork tapeworm. Apparently it's because our digestive systems are pretty much indistinguishable from pigs', so we can be both primary and intermediate hosts, whereas beef tapeworms only encyst cows. I warn you not to read too much on this topic however...

@Nine @matt a reminder that meat processing regulations in Germany are stringent enough that pork mince can go raw as well (but only mince AFAIK)
